Minerals or Electrolytes in Plants for Use in the BodySeptember 2006: Volume 1 Number 9 In our last article we talked about the general uses and function of elements found in the body. We will now discuss how plants give us the nutrition we need to sustain life. The roots of all plants are designed to help break down minerals or elements to the proper size for plant absorption and growth. Microorganisms and enzymes help breakdown the elements for the plants. The plants incorporate these properly sized elements into their structure and they are then available to us if we eat nutritiously balanced elemental plant material. The size of the elements in plants are the proper size for our bodies to move them where they are needed with ease and can eliminate them when they are no longer needed for body structures or functions. Some elements are used to eliminate toxins and maintain the correct ratios of elements to water for optimum energy and growth. The uses and functions of elements found in body have a direct effect on the way we feel, our energy level and our efficiency to move and think, which determine our level of health and wellbeing. Poor nutrition can stifle thought processes and reduce the body’s ability to cope with problems and result in poor ways to survive. The result is a cyclic degenerative life. You need fresh fruits and vegetables grown in rich mineral soils to give you what you deserve – a more vibrant life. The way to make it happen is to take control of your health and learn more about the uses and functions of elements in the body to provide you with a greater quality of life. Our next publication will be about how cells function in the body. © Copyright 2006 Minerals or Electrolytes in Plants for Use in the Body
